On Tuesday morning 16th March, a fatal accident took place onboard our vessel mv Solymar in the port of Vejle, Denmark.
We are sad to confirm that our experienced colleague and crew member passed away while working with hatchcovers on the vessel.
We wish to express our deepest condolences to our colleague’s family, friends and colleagues.
The exact circumstances of the accident are under investigation. Safety is a priority for AtoB@C Shipping and as soon as results are available the causes of the accident will be carefully analysed in order to prevent such accidents in the future.
